About Texas Lavender
Texas Lavender was founded in 2002 by Randy and Christi Graybill. Randy had a vision to create a beautiful lavender farm inspired by other Central Texas Lavender farmers. They purchased the land in Webberville, Texas, After several years working for the VA and the Sunset Valley and Barton Creek Farmers' Markets, Randy decided to expand the business to include a bed and breakfast. Founded in 2020, Texas Lavender Bed and Breakfast was created! Randy's new vision is to create a small orchard, a vegetable and herb garden for the guests, and small venue for events such as weddings or parties.
Only 30 minutes from downtown Austin, TX, Texas Lavender BnB is close, but still has that country vibe. Wake to the sounds of roosters crowing, cows lowing, and songbirds singing. The expansive picture windows display a gorgeous view of blue skies and verdant shade trees. Each morning and each evening is like a different work of art. Randy and Christi most enjoy watching the crows busily working in the field, the cooper hawks soaring above, hunting for small game, crimson cardinals singing cheer wheet weet, chickeadees singing chicka dee dee dee, doves cooing, woodpeckers pecking at the trees, wild turkeys, water foul, and road runners reminiscent of the dinosaurs from which they descended.
You may also spot a rabbit, an armadillo, raccoons, and the occasional loose cow, horse, or goat wandering in from one of the adjacent farms.
Sit on the top deck and enjoy the sunset and a cool breeze, sit on the back deck for excellent bird watching, or gather on the screened in porch for a nice visit with friends. In the winter, you can cuddle in front of the fireplace, play a board game, or just relax and watch a movie.
Texas Lavender Bed and Breakfast has free wifi for those folks who want to stay connected, a full kitchen, a large bedroom, and two full baths in the event you want to invite friends. The downstairs couch converts to a queen sized futon or we can offer inflatable beds upon request.
